ABOUT LISA
Lisa Fischer is an NYC-based producer, editor and multimedia journalist.
What gets her out of bed in the morning is uncovering and amplifying the stories that deserve our attention. The weirder, the better.
She loves a challenge and is well-versed in a variety of storytelling methods including documentary video, writing, podcast, TV, and narrative. Her experience ranges from digital media brands (Jezebel, Vox, Insider, Byrdie, Brides, The Spruce, MyDomaine, Serious Eats, Southern Living, Better Homes & Gardens, Verywell Mind, MTV News, Great Big Story, Lonely Planet) to multi-platform news networks (CNN) to TV (Comedy Central) and independent film. She has also organized a number of workshops and fundraising events with her feminist collective, The Nasty Woman Project.
Other ways that Lisa finds joy include discovering new favorite foods, doing flawless Cher impressions at karaoke bars, dancing the night away, and being with her community.
